Overview : Lanna in my opinion

First of all, Lanna is the region located in the northern part of Thailand. There are many provinces which are well-known for the visitors such as Chiangmai , Chiangrai , Lampang and etc. According to its history, it is believed that its people had probably migrated from the south of China.
The reason to support this belief is their eyes, skin, local language, eating habit and... etc.

Chiang Mai where locals are proud of the city's 700-year history. Its rich traditional heritage and unique culture. Chiang Mai is one of the few places in Thailand where it is possible to find in the heart of the city centuries-old chedis and temples next to modern convenience stores and boutique hotels. Chiang Mai one of Asia's most attractive tourist destinations.Chiang Mai is also blessed with pristine natural resources of mountains (dois), waterfalls, and other nature-based tourist attractions.

Chiang Rai was founded in 1262 by King Meng Rai and was the first capital of Lanna Thai (Kingdom of a Million Rice fields). The province contains Thailand's northernmost point at Mae Sai which is well known for its crisp mountain scenery, and hilltribes. North Chiang Rai and falls within the region known as the Golden Triangle, the area where the borders of Thailand, Myanmar and Laos converge.

Lampang
Lampang or Khelang Nakhon in the history is located in the north, about 599 kms (372 miles) from Bangkok, accessible by Highway No.1, and 92 kms from Chiangmai. Visitors going to Lampang to see famous temples built in Burmese and Lanna Thai style architectures such as Wat Phra That Lampang Luang, Wat Phra Kaew Don Tao, Wat Chedi Sao. Also, riding on a horse carriage is a must because it is the symbolic of Lampang city. At Hang Chat district, about 38 kms from Lampang city, located Thai Elephant Conservation Centre which is the first and only school in Thailand and the first in the world. Lampang is famous for ceramic industries, Sa paper, wood carving, Thai fabrics and other handicraft products.
